Magnitude of acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change).

Magnitude of acceleration = (30 m/s) / (15 sec)

Magnitude of acceleration = 2 m/s² .

Direction of acceleration = direction in which speed increased.

Direction of acceleration = South .
