The point slope equation is: y - y1 = m(x - x1), where <x1, y1> is a point on the line and m is the slope.

Since they want us to use the first point <-8, -32>, x1 = -8 and y1 = -32. Now we just need m.

Fortunately, we have an equation to solve for m: m = (y2 - y1)/(x2-x1). Let's use the two points they gave us to solve for m. m = (1 - (-32)) / (3 - (-8)) = 33 / 11 = 3

So, we have y - (-32) = 3(x - (-8)), or

y + 32 = 3 (x + 8)
