Carlson received a blue-eyed allele from BOTH of his biological parents. What is the term to describe this gene pattern

Answer: Recessive Gene. Homo zygote Allele.

Explanation:

Each gene is composed of two alleles. Alleles can be Dominant or Recessive. A Dominant gene is always expressed on the Phenotype (XX/Xx); A Recessive gene expresses on the Phenotype if both alleles are the same (xx).
