Why do differences exist in flood traditions of various nations or tribes?

They exist because the tribes didn't know there were other tribes out there. They had to use what resources they had. For example the three sisters corn, beans, and squash that was mostly what they tribes had in common. All of the countries had the three sisters but not all of the other resources
