Amanda has 10 cups of batter to make 16 cupcakes. how many cups of batter will she use for each cupcake?

You can use a ratio to solve this problem. 

The ratio of cups of batter to cupcakes is 10:16

To find how many cups of batter you need to make one cupcake, divide 10/16.
