Helen is making pillow cases. each pillow case uses 1/2 of a yard of fabric. If she has 2, 1/2 yards, how many pillow cases could she make?

2 1/2÷1/2=5 
Helen can make 5 pillows.

She can make 5 pillow cases because she has 2, 1/2 that means she could have 5 because there is one half in each whole which means there is already 4 pillow cases then add the 1/2 and you have 5 do your answer is that she can make 5 pillow cases
