What were Madison’s views on minority rights?

In the paper, Madison deals with the corruption of the government. This is the main "evil" tackled in the paper.

Madison believed that the minority right would be insecure if the majority unites to achieve a common interest. This means that the minority rights are threatened by the majority rule.
