In order for an object to be considered a mineral

1. It must be inorganic.
2. Must have a crystalline structure.
3. Must be definite chemical composition.
4. Must be naturally created.
5. Must be solid.

A mineral is components in the earth that combine to form rocks. Minerals in nature they are inorganic occurring substances.
