What influences and events led to the development of the roman republic?

The answer is the merge of 3 civilizations: latins, greeks and Etruscans.
The merging of these 3 civilizations, make the roman empire adopted new cultures, knowledge, and technologies. 
For the political aspect, the roman republics is heavily influenced by the greeks political culture that first invented the democracy.
