The height of a trapezoid is 8 inches and its area is 48 in.² one base of a trapezoid is 6 inches longer than any other base what is the length of bases

A = (B+b)·h/2 = 48 and B=b+6

2·48 = (b+6+b)·8
12 = 2b + 6
6 = 2b
b = 3 inches
B = 9
