3)As a farmer, the most tangible benefit is shared assets. I can benefit from a shared mill with shared equipment so I don't have to build my own for my relatively small farm. Additionally, I can invest in equipment that I can rent out to other farmers in the cooperative. The cooperative serves as a ready marketplace
